All orders placed on sanopasal.com is subject to the following terms and conditions.

Products are showcased under different category headings and/or by name of merchants. They are also categorized by delicate and size. Product description and images are best of our knowledge.

Non delicate items are shipped from our Kathmandu office. Delicate items (such as cakes, flowers and sweets (mithai) are home delivered locally. All delicate items are prepared on the day of delivery.

Product Unavailability:
If an item is out-of-stock or unavailable for any reason, customers can (1) wait until the item becomes available, (2) ask for an alternative product or (3) ask for full refund.

We offer competitive pricing. We guarantee to match any lower prices if you find anywhere else.


A. Domestic Delivery (Within Nepal)
We offer door-to-door service for all deliveries within Kathmandu valley. In case of out-of-valley deliveries, we offer home delivery only for delicate items such as cakes, flowers and sweets (mithai). All non- delicate items for out-of-valley are shipped through our shipping partner (courier). In some cases, recipient's out-of-valley may have to pick up gift items from courier office by themselves. We notify recipients in such cases.

B. Foreign Delivery (Outside Nepal)
All deliveries outside-of-Nepal are shipped through our shipping partners (either DHL, FedEx, UPS or TNT) where delivery time varies based on destination. For example, it takes 7-10 business days for an order to be delivered in the United States. We send a tracking number once a shipment leaves Nepal.

Additional custom fees may apply to large quantity orders to Foreign Delivery.

Delivery Date:
Customers may specify a day for domestic deliveries. However no specific delivery day is guaranteed for foreign deliveries. No specific time of a day is guaranteed for any deliveries.

Delivery Process Note:No specific time (or time frame) guaranteed for deliveries. However it is our best effort to make deliveries at recipients' convenience.

Delivery Exception:
We deliver all gift orders on the day specified by customers. However (because of past experience) in some incidents which are out of our control such as (not limited to) political unrest, bandh, street strike, we may postpone delivery. We resume delivery soonest the possible. We notify both sender and recipient of such incidents.

Delivery & Recipients:We ensure timely delivery. In most cases, gifts are delivered to the respective recipients. We notify the sender through delivery confirmation email if the recipient is not available to receive the gift items.

There is a separate fee for delivery which covers our delivery staff and fuel surcharge. Fees vary based on delivery destinations.

Area coverage: -- We have divided gift items in to two categories - 1. Delicate Gift Items (DGI) 2. Non- Delicate Gift Items (NDGI). 1. Delicate Gift Items (DGI) including cakes, flowers and sweets (mithai) are prepared on the day of delivery and freshly hand-delivered to the recipients by our staff. Delicate items are currently delivered within Kathmandu valley and selected cities in Nepal. More cities are being added for DGI delivery. 2. Non delicate items (NDGI) are shipped to all over Nepal from Kathmandu warehouse using our shipping partners.

Gift wrap optioncan be added for additional cost. A good looking gift wrapper is used with custom message attached.

Pick Up option:Recipients in Kathmandu valley may opt to collect gift items from our Kathmandu office at their convenience.

Photo Confirmation:is offered as delivery confirmation. No photo confirmation is sent if recipients do not wish to be photographed.

Shipping Fees:vary based on delivery destinations.

Payment Processing:We use PayPal to process all international payments. PayPal is a secure payment method.

Website security:sanopasal.com is secured by GeoTrust providing 256 bit encryption.

Delivery Confirmation:is sent in one of the following forms.

- Email Confirmation: for all deliveries.

Guarantee/Warranty:is applicable where manufacturers offer one.

Special offers/ Discounts:are offered periodically.

Refund Policy:There is a 14-day refund/replacement policy for wrong and damaged items. Wrong item(s) is replaced on if returned in its original conditions. There will be no refund on delicate items including cake, flower and sweets.

Order Cancellation:If any existing order(s) is canceled by the gift senders, there will be a 10% cancellation fee for orders up to USD $50, and 7% cancellation fee for orders of USD $50 and above.
